Both of my parents, because we eat so much. :)

It's normal like other families, the mom handles all the sides and stuff, and the dad does the turkey. :)

Thank God I don't do the cooking, we'd eat TV dinners for Thanksgiving.

I can't do anything detailed or intricate like that.

Proof: Painting my room tonight, I used SIX rags wiping up paint I overused and had run down the wall and all my stuff, and me. :)

I looove cooking. I'm in level III at school, w00t. :D So naturally I love making all the side dishes and helping with the turkey. :)

Heh, I got into a paint war once with my friend at church. Quite fun. :D

That was never the norm in my family o.O It was always either my mom or grandma made the turkey and whoever is hosting made most the sides plus everyone usually brought 1 desert or side.

This year I'm doing pretty much all the cooking... :/ I'm scared. I've never made a turkey before.

Don't be worried, it's not hard at all. I was only 16 last year and made it by myself. :)

Just mix butter and paprika, baste it, put in whatever stuffing you like, bake it, and voila.

we go to my aunt's and we meet up with my mom's large side of the family so they have all the cooking done before we get there (it takes us two 1/2 hrs. to get there but it only takes about 45 minutes for the others.)

My mom has a way of doing everything though...So I have to do it her way :P

She's recovering from her third spinal fusion so that's why I'm cooking this year.

I suggest deep frying it.
