IS there any error codes at all?  You said when ut comes back on it says it has recovered froma  serious error.  IS there anything else?  It would be best if you could give me the exact error message.

Well, when I look into it...microsoft says its a graphic driver problem, I use the lastest Nvidia graphics card and drivers.

[edit]

When it happens again, I will post up the error code.

Are you sure there the right drivers for the card you have?

That is a big no. My father is the house guru of technology and he says SP2 increases the security of windows, thus making it a must have.

out of the 10 computers at our house my dad is afraid to put SP2 on them because of all the problems it causes, but do what you wish. You could still do it just to see if it has any effect. if it doesnt then you know its not that. It's called trial and error.

Well, my computer for about 7 weeks now have been randomly rebooting on its own...and to be perfectly honest...It's gotten to annoying point now. I have run 10 scans on each and every virus, spyware, malware, and adware program on my computer, and they have found nothing. If you guys could please help me in stopping this for happening, that would great.

Here is my system information

SP2 is a very important update and should not cause any problems. The only time there may be problems is if you had spyware and/or viruses before the installation of SP2. And of course the people that encounter these problems instantly blame the problem on SP2 yet the source of the problem was a virus or spyware.
