Well I was browsing on Lois lowry's Official site, and she mentions they are in the early stages of making a movie about "The Giver"!! I know I am a dork  , but I love the book. Today I finished reading the sequel "The Messenger". I cannot wait. Do any of you like the book?

Oh boy; I remember reading this book back in middle school. I may feel obligated to see the movie since I always decided to sleep during Reading Clas... ;)

Awesome book. I used to read it over and over again when I was little. I never knew they had a sequel, much less that they were making a movie out of it. I hope they don't ruin the book. :(

Really? I'd say that's good news, since I thought they did a good job on Holes, besides the fact that Stanley wasn't fat in the beginning.
