Name: Old School Black Author: Cybrus Skin Number: I've been skinning for a year, no way have I kept up with the number Date Created: Jan. 9, 2005. Side Notes:Skins have gotten way too complicated for my liking, so I created a simple black skin as a way to paying homage to the past. Back when skins where simple, yet attractive. Before the desire to overcomplicate things with enhanced gradients and unneeded tables. Back when all you really needed was a simple gradient maker and CSS understanding and you could make a decent skin without fear of someone telling you that you need to make it more complex to fit in with “current standards”. So hereÂ’s my tribute to the past, and my way of showing that simplicity can still hold itÂ’s own against modern trends. I don't expect a WOW rating or high praise, but I'm happy with the outcome. Meh, finally someone else who can't keep up with the new generation of skinning. Anyway, the maintitle and titlemedium seem to cut eachother off and just clash somehow. Besides that, the isn't very many problems. I suggest taking the gradient off the darkrow1 and darkrow3 unless you're willing to use javascript to fix some problems. They both do more bad with gradients than they do good. Keep up the good work.

you need to blend the maintitle and titlemedium better but it's a good and simple, clean cut skin. 7/10 |

Nice job, but there's a bit too much black. It would work well with a Goth person's forum. 7.5/10.
