I don't think the internet should be taken seriously. I've met people who say, and think they love me, but they don't realize that you can't be introducing yourself one minute, and then calling yourself my boyfriend the next. I believe you can have close friends on the internet, but nothing more. It's just kind of hard to imagine having a boyfriend/girlfriend who I've never met, seen, or talked to offline. I'd much rather be outside hanging out with my friends than be on the computer, but that doesn't happen often because I'm not allowed outside without my brother, I can't be outside after 6 PM, and my brother always wants to be on the computer. :/ So I guess that's why most of the time I'm on a forum....

Let me get this straight:

It was not my aim to insult anyone.
If you feel insulted, too bad.
You could've asked what I meant with that post, but since you didn't, and called me a noob instead, you earned yourself a nice warning. You can blame yourself for that.

When you feel insulted, ask for an explanation. Don't call names, don't make a fuss.

Com-mu-ni-ca-te. That's the word.

Stay on topic.

my opinoin is that if your not smart enought to think "hey maybe they are at a friends house" or just say "who cares ill takl to them some other time" then you deserve to act like a nutball and think they dont like you

There was a point, about a year and a half ago to about August where I took forums and stuff way too seriously. Now, it's just a forum, and sometime's there are cool people to talk to and whatnot, but if someone decides it's banning time for me or something, I'm not about to get depressed or comit suicide.

Well I think that a lot of people hide behind the anonimity of web browsers and seem to forget they are dealing with people. Because of this you often see people at their worst, and other people can get hurt. Also some people like to see how far they can get away with playing mind games and other become devistated by this. Its importent when dealing with people online to be Internet "street-smart" and realize that things aren't always how they appear. Its unfortunate that there are bad people like that, but that is the reality of how people some act when they believe they can get away with that crap. I have no respect for people that behave that way, and I don't understand the rartionalle behind it at all. Posted Image

All in all, It's hard to convey emotion using text.

I disagree with that. Personally, I express myself better in writing or talking online than anything else. Speaking is harder to express myself in... just... because. lol. But I guess that comes down to personal preference or whatever.

Ok so I don't think that the internet should be taken seriously as in that you are completely dependant upon it, but, I do have a few online friends, and one really close online friends who I write letters with occasionally, etc. So, yeah... I think about these things a lot but I'm not like 'OMG! Amy's not online! What if she got in a car accident and died?!?!?! :o :o :o'
