My family just bought a 50' Hitachi LCD TV. It looks so great while playing DVDs! However, we only have standard analog cable. Not a digital signal. So the cable quality is noticeably more fuzzy. We are getting DirectTV, do you think that will improve the quality. And if you have DirectTV, do you like it?

DirectTV is a satellite TV service thingy I think. I'm not sure since we don't have satellite or cable or anything.

Someone I know has DirectTV. It is awesome and I think that the quality of the screen depends on the way the Television came. It may have been damaged already :/.
