One more problem: Evertime I edit a forum in the ACP it put br tags (</br>) I do not know why but it is really annoying I have to remove them manually. This also happens on its own at times.

If you have line breaks, it will put in <br> tags every time. That's a correct operation.

As Admin to Grace_Community board, my members and I have noticed severe to moderate lag time between page loadings. This could be from 20 seconds to 45 seconds or more. Not knowing that the changes were underfoot, I began deleting forums and posts thinking we were overloaded.

As of this day; April 29th at 7:30 PST, we are still experiencing lag in loading pages.

Forum numbers, post numbers, and member numbers won't affect access time.
Most likely it's due to some code or images you've added, or an issue with your ISP or some other component between you and the IF server. :/
If it's all your members noticing this, it probably means it's code or images, unless all your members are from the same general location.
