Now I am pagan. I used to call myself wiccan, but that before a few people at Gaia(I'm Shinji-Katawane) changed my views and tought me a-lot. So, what do other religions see Paganisim as? I mean I want to honestly see what those of you that have grown up in a religion notr classified as paganisim what do you see it as? For example what do you think when you hear the word pagan? What comes into your mind? and why do you think you have those views? |

I was using Gaia as a referance to where I learned the difference between Wicca and generic neo-paganisim. What I want to know and discuss is what you see Paganisim as and why you see it that way. I thought that it was rather clear. I know Gaia's down.. :'(

Here's your christian Just the word pagan means to me as someone who believes in a false god. Those that refuse the real God and follow those ideas that will only lead to destruction. |

I believe in God, just because we can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist What do I think of Paganism? I don't know anything about it, but would be interested if you want to share with us to learn what it is exactly. |

Paganism is the broad term used to describe any religion or belief that is not Christian, Jewish or Muslim. Paganism can be traced back to Neolithic times and survived up until the middle ages. Paganism is an earth based religion which lays emphasis on the worship of all aspects of nature. Paganism appeared very early on in the history of the world. Examples of early paganism, can be seen in ancient Greek and Roman religions, as well as in ancient Goddess worship and Druidic religions. In recent years there has been an upsurgence in the practice of paganism. The name given to this new movement is Neo Paganism. There are several forms of neo-pagan traditions which have taken their roots from ancient pagan practices, these include Neo- Drudism and Wicca. This definition comes from a friend. |

He's not the one that claims it. The people who believe he is real do. Personally, I only believe in god for fear of what will happen if I don't. |
