I believe in God and have Christian beliefs but I respect others for their own beliefs too.

I don't think there is a right or wrong way to believe as long as it doesn't harm others :)

so what is this "real" god? have you ever seen god? how do you know the one that you worship is indeed the true one? if there is one....

My faith is the evidence of things unseen. God may not be there for me to see in my eyes - but I have felt him through my faith and I have felt the Holy Spirit.

so who is he to claim that those that another worships is a false god?

He is the Creator. He would know these things - don't you think?

Quote:

He's not the one that claims it. The people who believe he is real do.

Wrong. God tells us that he is the only true living God. We aren't to worship false gods or idols, etc. It's in the Bible - not just some little belief that we all made up.

Paganism is the broad term used to describe any religion or belief that is not Christian, Jewish or Muslim. Paganism can be traced back to Neolithic times and survived up until the middle ages. Paganism is an earth based religion which lays emphasis on the worship of all aspects of nature. Paganism appeared very early on in the history of the world. Examples of early paganism, can be seen in ancient Greek and Roman religions, as well as in ancient Goddess worship and Druidic religions. In recent years there has been an upsurgence in the practice of paganism. The name given to this new movement is Neo Paganism. There are several forms of neo-pagan traditions which have taken their roots from ancient pagan practices, these include Neo- Drudism and Wicca.

This definition comes from a friend.

I read the Da Vinci Code so I too share this knowledge.

while were on the subject, whos to say that god is a he? it could quite possibly be a she, or an it, no one is to say for sure even if they did believe ;)

That's why they call the Bible the 'Word of God'. :r

You were speaking as if God exists, so I would assume that at that point you would say that God did create the world.

In the Bible when God first created man he said that he was making man in his own image, so I would assume that God is a guy... or ? ? ?

perhaps that could mean mankind, many refer to mankind as man, even now.

and no, i dont believe that "god" created the world. i have no faith in a higher power, sorry to disappoint you ;)

I was gonna read it. But it looked huge. Besides, murder mysteries are usually boring. <_<

Didn't he create Adam, and then Eve came along afterwards. So I would agree that he is male as he made the first man in his own image, that man being Adam?

Well, if God was really all-powerful he would tell us individually, so we don't doubt.

Not to mention the bible says "he" refering to God about 50 million times. haha

As for me, I'm a Christian. To be honest with you, when I hear the word pagan I think of someone who is mislead and who does not follow the true God. That was the question and that is my honest answer that is in accordance with my beliefs.

Actually it was written by God, through his disiples.

Look, youre not going to get anywhere trying to refute the bible and I'm not gonna get anywhere trying to prove it, thats just the way it is. It cant be argued, you either believe or you dont.
