This debate could go on for years.

IMO everyone has a beleif. That beleif will be different from everybody elses beleif.

Nobody here is going to change anybodies perception here, so why bother?

Are you saying that just because their beliefs are different from yours, all the children and women and great Jewish men that were killed went to hell?

Thats God's decision IMO. I guess I kinda believe differently then most Christians. I dont think just because your Jewish means you go to hell. I think thats somthing we cant really say, God is the judge of who goes to heaven and who doesnt, not us.

Tell that to some of the Christians I know. ;)

Seriously though, you're a perfect example of why Atheists shouldn't lump all Christians together. Some of them have totally different beliefs on some issues. My dad, for example, used to be an Altar boy for the Church. He is still Christian, but believes in Reincarnation. Does it make him less Christian? No, it makes him normal. Not many Christians agree with everything they are told. Thank god. >>;;;

Oh, and earlier you were complaining about people only quoting part of a post and responding only to it....

Ok. I would like to adress sowemthing right now. Not ll pagans are earth based religions. There is no proof that it goes back to the neolitic times. Wicca is a dithestic pagan religion. Dithtestic means they have 2 gods.

The hellenics(greeks) are not earth based at all. The norse are not and the celtics are. Wicca is a mystery and secrecy based religion.

You have informed me that there is much for you to leatn, and I shall answer all that I can. Just please give me time.

Can I just ask something? :)

In Christianity and in any other religions... Is God supposed to have created the Universe and/or the world or just mankind?

I don't believe in God, but I also respect people who have faith in God. Everyone has different views; it's no one else's business to tell what someone else should or should not believe in.

Paganism is the broad term used to describe any religion or belief that is not Christian, Jewish or Muslim. Paganism can be traced back to Neolithic times and survived up until the middle ages. Paganism is an earth based religion which lays emphasis on the worship of all aspects of nature. Paganism appeared very early on in the history of the world. Examples of early paganism, can be seen in ancient Greek and Roman religions, as well as in ancient Goddess worship and Druidic religions.  In recent years there has been an upsurgence in the practice of paganism. The name given to this new movement is Neo Paganism. There are several forms of neo-pagan traditions which have taken their roots from ancient pagan practices, these include Neo- Drudism and Wicca.

This definition comes from a friend.

I read the Da Vinci Code so I too share this knowledge.

Paganisim isnt a religion. It is an umbrella of all sorts of religions. The diinic code ios carp and has no accurate information. Pagan religion can not be proven to go all the way back to the neo-lithic times. Margurat murry the person that started that statement has now been debunked. We actually dont know what sort of system of worship they had.

The greeks,Romans, Norse, and Egyptians are not nature based. While their Gods may represent things in nature it does not make them nature based. They are polythists. Hard Polythists at that.

Druidisim was never a religion and they were the law keeprs and story tellors of the Celtic faiths.

Along with Wicca neo-pagans also include the reconstructionalists which try as hard as they can to recreate the faiths in the anchient times.
