I will say that to those of you who haven't drove yet. HA HA HA HA!!! I mean, it's a great privilage, but be forwarned that your parents are probably going to turn you into the gopher of grocery shopping and taking them wherever. (well, I did anyway). I will say that the freedom you have of buying your very first car, driving it somewhere far far away from home the first time, etc is a blast.

With the current price of gas and the way it's going, if you still live with your parents you prolly can't afford to drive far, far away. I have a 97 Ford F150 with dual tanks and it takes $90 to fill it up =/. I don't even live with my parents and I can barely afford to fill it up.

Our Drivers Ed teacher told us it wasnt going to happen. The money that the states would loose for things like registration and licencing fees are too costly to give up.
