yeah, the pistons could win it all... if tayshaun prince keeps putting up huge games, he's the key to their offence...

but, of course, they can't touch the mighty wizards (home-court adavntage, baby...)

I'm sorry to bust in on your fantasy, but the Wizards are lucky and won't get out of the first round. They're only in fourth by 1.5, leading the Bulls, who will either catch them or knock them out anyway.

The West is where the power is anyway. The Rockets are 44-28 and are fifth. If they were in the East, they'd be .5 game out of second. That really shows something. Any of the top three teams in the West would dominate the East, Miami Heat or not. Yes, the same Heat that lost to the expansion Charlotte Bobcats (although I like the Bobcats and don't want to rag on them by saying the E word) and Indiana in overtime.

my bubble has been busted for the past several years...im just happy the wizards are doing well.

but really, they do what they do (beat the lakers, beat the hawks last night, 2nd in southeast) was done purley on guard talent and grit. our bankroll keeps us out of bigmoney hotshot post players (E word...) and we're stuck starting brendan haywood and etan thomas. Thet are fun to watch, at least to me, because the style of basketball is high-flying, fast-paced action. Granted, the immenant playoff run will more than likely be very short lived, but im just happy to see the wizards in the playoff. and if we can get our 7 foot puerto rican to develop, fear.

You're right, they have great guard talent in Gilbert Arenas (very odd person, but I copied his free throw shooting ritual :P ) and Larry Hughes.

However, I think we can both agree that just about anyone can beat the Lakers at this point. :P

LMAO, true Phyrro, very true.

I wish Kwame would develop already, he was supposed to "be something." <_<

I wanna see Juan Dixon make it to the top of a team too, he is by far my favorite college player in recent memory. And he would have went to my high school if he didn't go to silly Calvert Hall instead. Lol.

Two people who will be a big hit in the NBA are Sean May and Fransisco Garcia.

I don't think Andrew Bogut is all he's cracked up to be, although he's good.

I want to see how far the Rockets will go this year. I bet you anything they can easily beat Seattle, but they'll be playing Dallas in the second round. And that matchup is never easy to call.

They've certainly got enough talent though...T-Mac, Yao, and a lot of good perimeter shooters.

Agreed entirely. I mean, I think he's a good college player, but I don't think he'll be dominating enough for an NBA player.

And it's really not smart to pick a hyped up center with the first pick.

Only execptions to that are Shaq and Yao.
