Okay, here's my way to making a cool text effect for grunge type sigs.

First start out with any signature or image and use a white font any size. (I used Dark Crystal in this bad graphic)

Now, select your font layer and use the following settings:

Dropshadow:
Posted Image

Outer Glow:
Posted Image

Inner Glow:
Posted Image

Bevel and Emboss:
Posted Image

Satin:
Posted Image

Colour Overlay:
Posted Image

Stroke:
Posted Image

If you follow all those settings, you'll end up with something like this:

Remember, for best effect lower the text opacity to around 70-80.

Type what you want to say and the font layer will automatically appear. It will be named the word you typed.
