But why pay $250 for something portable, when you can save that money for the next generation console? I can wait to play video on the tv. I don't need to play it 24/7.

because i spend most of my day away from home... im never home to play my consoles... besides... im only planning on getting the PS3... and its not released til next year most likely... plenty of time to gather money...

The D.S. is gonna be better. Nintendo has led the Handheld title for the past what 20 years or something.....they may make the worst consoles but they have the best handheld. YOU CAN'T BEAT TOUCH SCREEN!!!! For 200 dollars I can get a new iPod mini with 2 more GB and a longer battery life.

I would rether have a psp because it would be much better then a ds, and a ds is another version of a Game Boy and it would go out of business as soon as psp comes out. Also psp is going to be much cooler advanced and better....I think

For the time being, I am going with the DS. Also, I have one so it's easier to say. The PSP might or might not do well...who's to say? :)

I might try my luck with one as well.

You are incorrect imo, another version of the gameboy? With a touchscreen... And the psp is no better, for a start you have to buy seprate dvd disks even if you already have the movie and also the PSP Is just gonna be A portable PS, With similar games, graphics and everything, where is the innovation in the PSP?

If anything the PSP is another version of the gameboy. DS brings to the table new and exciting ideas. Touchscreen? Dual-screen? What feature does the PSP have that hasn't be seen in handhelds, already?

where is the innovation in the PSP?

you are correct... thier is no big innovations in the PSP... its just one big power house... but it will sell better than the DS... because innovation isnt always better... the DS would be doing a hell of alot better if they only had some freakin games... they only have like 2 worth getting... and its been what... almost 5 months from launch... i want games now... not 1 year from now...

even my best friend who is a huge nintendo fan boy is getting a PSP... and thinks it will crush the DS... in which he has a DS... he even has like 10 games for it... but only likes maybe 2...

me and several others also believe that Nintendo is gonna follow in the footsteps of Sega and the Dreamcast... we believe that the Revolution will be Nintendo's last system... or maybe the one after that... but Nintendo has been going downhill ever since they back'd down from the deal with Sony back in the early 90's...
