It would be cool if xbox made a handheld

If Xbox made a handheld it would be so big you couldn't hold it in one hand. It would probably have a key ignition to turn on and feature a gas pedal you had to keep down to give it power. Xbox Handheld = big and ferocious. Even I will admit that and I am a Xbox fanboy :P

According to our AP (Associated Press) reports, Microsoft has just officially announced the future release of their X-Box Portable, or XBP, codenamed "Media Outlet Device Bonanza 2006++ k?"  In a related press conference, CEO Bill "As Long as I'm Getting Rich, Your Interests are Like Crap on the Bottom of my Shoe" Gates had this to say:

"In releasing the "Media Outlet Device Bonanza 2006++ k?" we are aiming to give you the experience of everything your TV, CD Player, MP3, and DVD player and digital camera could do all in one tiny gadget."

A reporter asked him the following question:

"Two questions Mr. Gates.  Firstly, isn't that one of the things Sony aimed to capitalize on with the PSP?  Second, I thought this was a gaming portable, correct?"

Gates: "Well, yes, we have one or two games for it.  The first is Tetris X-Style *makes comic block shape".  The second is a Halo port that has amazing graphics but no substance, sound, style or value whatsoever.  Now, let's move on to the movies shall we?  If you..."

And there you have it folks.  We'll keep you updated on the latest "Media Outlet Device Bonanza 2006++ k?" statistics as they come.  I know you really don't care, but we need some material to give you.  Live 5 news, over and out

I can just see it now... :)

Heh...have you ever played Xbox Live?

If so, I guess I can't change your mind. But I have had more fun on Xbox Live than many things I can think of. And actually the Xbox completely blows away the Playstation 2 aside from the RPG aspect. Gamecube wins in the durability section and "fun factor" but for FPS, Xbox wins hands down IMO.

Just depends on your genre :P

Well that is where opinion kicks in :P

I have also met 2 people through Xbox Live and met them in real life. I randomly found out that they went to a school about 15 minutes away from me.

Even if it was awesome, no way I'd spend 45$ for it...what is it, per month or something?

If it was free, like the DS' online service, then yeah, I'd be into it.

Well, 50 a year. People say that is to much but when you take into consideration the mainly free downloads, dedicated servers, bandwidth cost, and upkeep...it is pretty decent. I just think of it as buying a game each year to stay online. And as of now, the DS doesn't have an online service? Or maybe Nitro kicked off...if it did...inform me :P

DS was online capable out of the box. IT's just currently the only thing you can do online is PictoChat, because it has no Online-compatible games out atm.

Hmmm, I thought I read something about it needing another thing for it to truly work Wireless. However you know more about it so I take your word for it.
