Well if I wanted music and videos, I'd get things that were actually meant for that. Which I have. I've already mentioned having an iPod and lots of DVD players. Just about everyone has a CD Player at worst. So that's a wasted gimmick. |

Both are good systems but I'd prefer the PSP, mainly because Sony has always had better games then Nintendo had. I could really care less about the music, pictures and movies. |

Here is what it boils down to. Video Game companies are slowly trying to make their product look better with these new "features" that are less about gaming. When I buy something that is marketed, I want it for games. I don't want it confusing with extra junk that takes away from the gaming aspect. Sure...PSP is loaded with features that make it a mini-computer. But why am I buying a system...for games. Clearly the DS is more equipped for Gaming. Two screens was one of the most innovative designs I have ever seen implemented into Video Gaming and it is a great thing to have a touch screen as well as a normal screen. Being able to play racing games and have the map on one screen while you drive on another is so helpful. The DS will also has a growing library of true games that are fun to play. A new Side Scrolling Mario, what is not to like about that. PSP is just drifting from what a handheld gaming machine is about...gaming. I choose the DS for its innovative design and expandability. Give it a few months once the new games are released and it blows PSP out of the water. By the way Sony, if I wanted an mp3 player...I would buy something equipped for it. I don't want a cheap feature that can hold a few songs, I want a true MP3 Player capable of holding thousands. |

Like usual the psp blows ds out of the water with more capabilities and better games, making ds look like nothing more then a childs toy. |

Exactly...Video Gaming shouldn't be about capabilities aside from Video Gaming. Especially in handhelds. And I wouldn't care if it was a childs toy, the point is that I have fun playing it and the games provide true enjoyment.

I have a DS, and I love it. I agree, with Ghetto Oracle, PSP has all of those features such as the MP3 ect, but i'd rather buy a GOOD mp3 or DVD player then a PSP. DS, is better IMO. |

OK, this comes from a non-biased stand point (because i have BOTH PSP and DS) I love them both to death. OK, DS is good. An EXTREMELY poor launch line really screwed it over. Luckily they are starting to come out with good fun/addicting games (i.e. Wario Ware Touched, and Yoshi's Touch and Go). BUT, as of this moment PSP is better for a few reasons: 1. Much better launch line up 2. Works on Wi-Fi networks so you can play virtually anyone in the city that has the same game as you. 3. PSP has other forms of Multimedia on it. 4. The graphix are 100x better And now i'm going to smash a few hearts here that only believe rumors. PSP does NOT have bad battery life. I watched all of Spiderman 2 on it (comes free with it) then played a game on it for about 2 hours without the battery dieing. IMO thats not bad battery life. The memory sticks i do hate, but i don't really care much about them (although i have recently used virtually all the memory on it to upload 6 mp3's. PSP also comes with an amazing sample disk that includes: - 8 music videos that are all beautiful to watch - 7 movie previews of upcoming movies - 9 game previews of the games from the launch of the PSP At the moment PSP has got the edge over the DS but don't give up on DS. The thing that really gives sony the edge IS the ability to play on Wi-fi networks. DS can only play people within 100 feet of your DS. But something that sony didn't have that i was surprised about, was a chat feature like the DS has (Pictochat). Well comments? |

^What do you think is better? I think the PSP is better all the way. You're partially right there, but the PSP has more features and everything. Waaaay better then the DS. I can't believe why I bought the DS. The PSP has amazing battery and everything. But for a high price which is bad....but better. PSP still owns the DS. PSP>>>>>>>>>> Rowain>>>>>>>>>>>>>DS.

That image is fake. I have a PSP, and the disks don't look like that at all. I also have DS, but I love me PSP better. |

I don't own either of them, nor will I ever, but from what I've heard PSP is way better. |
