And you are a Sony fanboy. Just becasue someone likes somethign and hates another donesn't make htem a fanboy. But ya know what, I'm a Nintendo fanboy, because their products truely are better, their games are what I prefer, and I'll admit it ^^ That doesn't mean I don't like some other games not by or for Nintendo, but the majarity are. |

Sry i'm gonna go back to something Phyrro said awhile back (page 3...) OK. YOU OBVIOUSLY have no idea what you r talking about. OK one i am a true gamer. I have owned AND ABUSED every system/console/handheld gamind device to date besides Atari and N-Gage. At this very moment i have walked away from playing Mario Golf for N64. I AM a true gamer. Did i not state that the gameplay is far better on the PSP? Well if i didn't i'll go through why: PSP vs. DS, Game wise: 1. Graphics are FAR FAR better 2. Games are FAR FAR better 3. Controls are very nice 4. Doesn't stray away from the controls of a PS2 leaving you in a perfect spot. 5. The touch screen controlling for most of the games (excluding a few) is HORRIBLE and incredibly difficult to control 6. Multiplayer on PSP is FAR FAR move versitile than DS (working on Wi-Fi will give you those advantages. i.e. if you live in New York City, you can play ANYONE in New York City that has the same game as you. DS if you have the same game as someone, you have to be within 100 feet) 7. Much wider vareity of games on PSP 8. DS mainly is marketing to younger children PSP on every level is better (except innovativeness, DS kicks *** for that). The multimedia features are just a bonus. And i have to ask, do you have the PSP? or have you played with it EXTENSIVELY (atleast 5 hours)?
Yeah, drawing contests are TRUE GAMING SKILL! LMAO. Dude Metal Gear Solid Acid, that is true gaming skill. Ape Escape, is true gaming skill. Drawing is NOT true gaming skill. Its drawing skill. What a pointless statement. |

I OWN a PSP, and I have to say that (I own a DS as well) the DS DESTROYS the PSP in terms of Gameplay. Okay I'm aware that it doesnt have very many games, but who cares? The games that is has now are AWESOME. Its Gameplay is so much more then the PSP that I sold my PSP for $200 (no not to a store). The PSP DOES have Graphics, but it doesnt offer anything new at all, its just the same old boring handheld I've seen for about 3 generations before it. Oh wait, only this time it plays music and DVD's <-wow, woopity do, what a unique and amazingly hard thing to do...NOT. Where as the DS has something I've never experienced before, and I LOVE the touchscreen. The technology that has to go into the TouchScreen FAR SURPASSES the PSP, seriously think about it. My Statement was not pointless, what was pointless was your pathetic attempt to say that the PSP has better graphics. And yeah, it does, wow, graphics are NOT what makes a great game. And like I said, the DS has far more technology in it then the PSP. Metal Gear Solid Acid does not take true skill, LMAO thats hilarious. The DS takes true skill because now its not just how fast you can press a button. |

PSP has low battery life, its game library is mostly ports of PS* games, it's known to spit out cartridges, and one of the buttons is known to be.. not very responsive. It may look pretty but it doesn't seem to exactly be a masterpiece of engineering. DS I'm torn on; there are some interesting ideas in it, but historically game devs don't always pounce on such things (infrared on the GBC, anyone?). Then again, even the games so far have made good use of it -- I was rather impressed with Wario Ware Touched -- and there are more games still coming. Will be interesting to see how it competes with the GBA2. |

Isnt the GBA2 called the GBE? Could be wrong. And I know, alot of people are having Dead Pixel problems on there PSP's. Just like alot of people have been saying, they just clumped together the PSP as fast as they possibly could, no REAL engineering went on in the PSP, just putting together features and making sure it could play PS2 games. Pffft. My friend has had to buy 2 PSP's now :P, he said if he gets another "defected" one he's gonna buy a DS. |

OK, NOW you are just being biased. Saying that ANY Metal Gear Solid/Acid game doesn't take skill just makes me not want to listen to your mindless blabber even more. Saying that Wario Ware Touched takes skill and isn't just mindless minigames that happen to be fun is a load of B.S. For the second time PSP'S BATTERY LIFE IS NOT BAD. I'm sure that some of the PSP's your friend has been returning weren't defective at all. I thought my PSP was defective until i read the trouble shooting guide at the back of the instruction booklet a few times. YES the DS IS innovative. I stated that. BUT the games are a SERIOUS turn off. Their are 3 games for the DS that i own that i SOMEWHAT enjoy. Feel The Magic, Super Mario DS, and Yoshi's Touch and Go. Super Mario DS i hardly even use the touch screen because of its completely imferior controlling compared to the d-pad. BTW I have 6 DS games that are all crap. If you have read ANY reviews on the DS games you will find that only 3 (feel the magic, Super Mario DS and Wario Ware Touched) got above an 8 (none got a 9 highest= 8.5: Wario Ware Touched, Feel The Magic). All the rest got a 7 or lower (worst being a 2: Ping Pals). 2 out of 17 of the PSP games have been rated lower than a 7.4 (Spiderman 2 the Game: 6.4, Wayne Gretzky's Hockey: 6.3). The stats speak for themselves. As i stated (now 3 times) their are only 2 ways that a DS is better than a PSP. Innovativeness and the Chat Feature (Pictochat) |

And abused? Those poor consoles. ![]() I've been a gamer since the days of the NES, if you want to be like that. But I won't go that way. Oh wow, let's all bow down because the launch line has better graphics. I thought only animals were inexplicably drawn to shiney things. Oh wow, we really have some facts here to tell us that the games are far far better. If you give me a list of your five favorite games on PSP I'll compare them to my five favorite DS ones and I'll see if you're correct. Controls are nice. I give you that one. Controls are nice on the DS too. I don't use the touch screen controls in MP:H or SM64DS. They give you the option to set other controls, in which case I think they are very good. I use the touch screen for WW:T because you have to and that's what makes it fun. The DS has the AB/XY of the NES/SNES DS Wi-Fi let's you reach a thousand miles at a hotspot, or even from a wireless router in your house. But games with wireless capabilities are still in production, although PictoChat can also do it. There's a wide variety of games on DS too. One or two racing, three or four platformers, a sports game, and some I can't classify. ![]() DS is marketing to younger children I find false. I'm not younger children. WW:T is for all audiences, Sprung and Feel the Magic are for teenagers and up. I think that's just an argument you supplied because it's what some Nintendo haters have come up with to have something to argue about. I also believe the PSP is not better on every level. Whether or not the PSP's battery sucks as much as it is said, I know for a fact it is still shorter than the DS'. It also has no form of screen protection like the clamshell, forcing you to shell out more money for a screen protector. Sound on DS is better, I can't remember the name of the guy who admitted that, but DS has bigger speakers and a surround-sound type setting. And maybe that guy likes drawing contests. You don't have to leap on him and laugh in his face for that. I've had a drawing contest with my friend in PictoChat many times. I like it too. Card battling from MGS has to be skill, I agree. [/halfsarcasm]. I haven't heard of Ape Escape. I thought your post was real rude and I did my best not to sound that mean in mine. ![]() As for what Aurora said, I'm just tired of Zabuza shoving his opinions down my throat (and sometimes Dubz's) and Dubz trying to retaliate. |
