I'm thinking about becoming a hosting reseller, but I'm not 100% sure.

What are +/- for reselling? Does anyone recommend any reseller services?

M-Hosting (In my sig) sells reseller hosting accounts so you can make your own money.

The plus side is that you make money, become respected, etc.

The downsides are that if you don't advertise you lose money, and if you keep giving away free hosting you will run out of space and, in turn, not have any money to upgrade your reseller account.

It's stressful, but it's worth it...eventually :P.

Reseller Hosting is when you are given a chunk of web space and somthing called WHM which is used for creating/deleting cPanel accounts etc.

Pros:
You can create cPanel accounts
Free support (normally)
The company that you resell for normally takes care of managing the server.
Easy to use

Cons:
WHM can be annoying at times, due to how it is coded
You dont get root access to the server, so you have less control

I recommend getting a reseller account from www.sswebhost.com

I'll take a look at M hosting now :D

I think the best I've seen for not losing money is ipb, but I'd get out priced by pretty much all other companies e.g.

* 400Mb Storage Space
* 20Gb Data Transfer
* 25 POP3 E-mail Accounts
* 10 E-mail Auto-responders
* 10 FTP accounts
* 2 MySQL database
* 3 Subdomains
* 2 Vanity Domains
* $9.99 Setup*
for $19.99

They would sell that to me for 1/2 price and I think I'd have to add at least 1/4+ onto that 1/2 to make a half decent prophit, so I think ipb are out.

Thats paid hosting, not reseller hosting ;)

I will offer reseller hosting starting at $10/month payable via paypal :)

I know, thats my point. If you want to do anything special like custom apache modules or whatnot, you have to get a vps or dedicated server.

No the ipb reseller is that you sell their services for them, they give you them for 1/2 price and you set your own prices
