Firefox is the same browser as netscape, just with the added features.

Just because Netscape is based off the Gecko Engine does not mean it is the same browser just with added feutures.

Well, Firefox has been making a ton of advancements. It's doubtful something of that magnitude will happen, but there is always a chance.

Firefox future is that it will be so great. IE will be gone as it is unsafe. The only browsers that will stay are Firefox and Opera.

Firefox future is that it will get better ever version and IE will go and be gone as it is unsafe. The only browsers that will stay are Firefox and Opera.

I bet sooner or later microsoft will try to buy FF, and replace it with IE T_T

Then it would be the spyware browser and everyone would have to migrate to opera! XD

In 2010 we'll all be using a new browser that completely owns anything we have today.

Look at the advancements we've had in regards to internet browsing in the last five years, then think about what another 5 years will bring.

While you will not get as much because of no ActiveX support and Ie being a part of Windows you can still get spyware.
