As expected with any place mostly inhabitated with teenagers, mostly just the more "mainstream" genres of music are discussed. I was curious if anyone else was interested in the more "traditional" types of music...

Beethoven, Bach and Mahler, among others, are good. :)

No jazz, though. I hate that. :arr:

Jazz is one of my favorites, especially South American or Cuban Jazz.

However, classical, or "baroque" for those who know the dating system of music, is my favorite. Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel are my favorite composers.

I like Jazz, I don't buy Jazz CDs or know many Jazz artists, but I'm sort of into it, I like the style and I play it a lot on my saxophone.

Jazz, I like Maynard Ferguson's works. He is sick with the trumpet.

As for Classic, Gustav Holst's "The Planets" are pretty good.

I have some old popular jazz. I dont know anyone other than the big names though. Duke Ellington particularly. Cant stand classical though...

I actually prefer to listen to Showtunes most often. Though I do enjoy listening to both the classics and jazz.

Im a big fan fan of jazz, mostly guitar stuff (Joe Pass, etc..), but all of the contemporary jazz (Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, even Vic Wooten) I like.

Im not too much of a classical dude.

I'm a great fan of the classical genre, as i find them soothing.

With jazz, i'm a fan of Jean krupa (sp?) but i'm not a fan of the style as a whole.
