You know how some hosts say "buy this package and we give you a free domain", what type of reseller account would you need to give a free domain. Basically what I'm getting at is, how do people offer domains? |

No, you can use a domain reseller. When hosting packages say they include a free domain they are really just included in the price, so your paying for them really. |
