I know I posted this in the FAQ, but I really need this problem fixed. :(

I found a fair bit of spyware using hijackthis, but when I restarted my pc I found Msn wouldnt work, and I couldnt connect to certain sites such as godaddy and gmail.

I still have the backups so I feel I may have removed something I shouldnt off.

How do I restore the backups? [/n00b] :(

Question. Did you delete everything hijackthis found?

Edit: To restore the backup launch HijackThis. Then choose None of the above, just start the program. From there click Config then go to Backups. They can be restored from there.

If your using XP, you could use System restore, beware, if your last system restore was 1 year ago, all the things you have done in the past year will go
