I'm using Firefox right now, and have been the last day or so. I decided to give it a proper try as I hadn't tried it since I installed it. Thought it would be just like before, slow etc but so far the pages are loading quickly and a lot of the sites I go on show up alright on it now, and the odd one that doesn't I have it set to open in IE. I still like IE and can always go back to it whenever I like.

I downloaded FF a while ago, but I prefer IE simply because the scrolling is smoother :haha:

I will agree there. IE is smoother over all at loading pages, images and scrolling. I'll probaby revert back to IE at some point but I have both so can swap and choose as the mood takes me.

One reason is why I use Firefox over IE is because it actually renders pages correctly, unlike IE who makes pages look like utter crap (that's why there are IE and Mozilla versions on websites).

Get the smooth scroll extension for Firefox. It helps ;)

I think IE's the best. I use FF just because i like being able to skin it. But i think now you can skin IE.

I hope IE does become the least used browser, although I know it won't. Firefox and Opera are both much better than IE IMO.

You just wait until IE 7.0, then firefox is in alot of trouble, IE 7.0 will have all that FF has now, and much, much more, then FF will be in real trouble.

I use IE, not sure why though.

IE is well aware that it is losing sales, so Windows makes feeble attempts to disable FF and NetScape.

Also, I wouldn't reccomend using IE with Linux, another one of Windows' attempts to screw up your computer.

Your best bet is to either use Windows with IE, or Linux with FF.

I've never understood this comment. Every page I've gone onto in IE has been fine, not a problem with the way the site is displayed, in Firefox I have had a couple of sites where the layout doesn't look right and looks crap.

Yeah. I'm already back using IE. Firefox is alright and I've given it a couple of days but I prefer IE, not to say I probably won't use Firefox in the future.
