I'd try a different browser or something.

Are you using IE? I've noticed IE being quite slow starting up recently, but once it's started up it's ok.

It might be your computer, afterall this website has thousands of clicks a minute, your computer might not be able to handle it.

I had the same problem. Except my computer froze. You must buy a new upgrade (what I did), a new computer, and/or as suggested a new browser. I suggest Firefox or for Mac users, Safari.. Clean your temp files and cookies. Also delete it from your favourites :o.

Hope I helped.

You could have spyware. Here's a few removers you can consider (and free of charge, btw):

Ad-Aware Personal Edition
MS AntiSpyware
Spybot Search & Destroy
SpywareBlaster

Also try some of these anti-virus/firewall programs:

AVG Anti-Virus 7
Sygate Personal Firewall
