Taking the backing color off icons on my desktop; How?

I have this grey color behind the text on my icons on my desktop, is there a way to make it differrent colors of just make it trasparent?

Yeah, you can change it. Mine was pink when I first started up my computer. lol

Unfortunately, I can't remember where you change it. Look in Control Panel >> Display >> Appearence. It should be in there somewhere, I would imagine.

I looked for it but couldn't find anything that had to do with changing the background color of the icons.

Hmm, I dunno then. Maybe use the search/help tool on your computer. That gets a quick answer sometimes. And this isn't really a hard issue. lol
