English originated in England. Americans just took their language and modified it a bit. :haha: |

Well really the language Americans speak is called "American English". The reason for some countries such as Haiti why they speak French is that Napolian came and counquered them and made French an official language and it has been since. It's things like that mostly. |

Koreans do not speak Cantonese. Koreans speak Korean. Cantonese-speaking people originate from Canton, in Southern China. Cantonese is considered a dialect of Chinese. Besides, the Canadians speak English too. So do the Australians. Why does all of South America speak Spanish? Why don't they speak South American? |
