Okay I know the basic meaning of Insomnia is that you cannot sleep, but what exactly makes this happen. I never quite understood the concept of it, would anyone like to enlighten me? :unaware: |

Don't confuse insomnia with sleeplessness, Phil. Sleeplessness has to happen repeatedly over a long period of time for someone to be diagnosed with insomnia. |

Yeah... You need to get off the computer quickly, and into bed ASAP, if that's the case. I'm assuming that you're not exaggerating. You can die from lack of sleep, you know. |

I'm actually surprised that you stayed up this long. Get some sleep anyway, ok? And if this continues, make sure to only sleep in your bedroom, and do nothing else there, if possible. And don't do work on your bed, or play games and sit on your bed, or anything like that. You need to put it into your mind that when you lay down on a bed, you are required to go to sleep. |

Yeah it's been a very hectic week and when night comes and your alone you get thinking about life, past and present.. thanks for the concern doug, you seem a pretty nice and caring guy! I'll keep you posted how I am feeling and if I am getting much sleep. |

That depends on what you're referring to as dope. Some drugs are uppers, which make you hyper, and others are downers, or depressants, which make you drowsy and unaware. All of these medications are unsafe and under no circumstances should be used to treat any medical condition. EDIT: I mean the illegal ones... :S |
