Right, I've seen quite a bit of things to do with bad text, particularly in Duoi's sig and Cornlord's avatar. This quick little thing will help you greatly improve your text on GFX and on the Internet in general.![]() Now look at this, have a look at the text. You can see it's very choppy and leaves much to be desired. To some of you it may look normal, but to others who have already discovered this, it looks terrible. Now compare the text to this: ![]() To get the more sleek and professional looking text on Windows XP, it's very simple, just go to Start ->Control Panel->Display->Appearance. From here you can choose your display colour, whether it be Blue, Sliver or Olive Green. After you have chosen your desired style, click on the Effects tab and tick the "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:" box and select "ClearType" from the drop down. Now click OK and Apply and you're all set, your on-screen text will look a lot better. Now, when you apply text to GFX in future they will look a lot better too! |

Sure things are smoother, but text now is getting a little too big, which is annoying. I am staying with my orginal. |

Agreed.. Whats the point in a webdesigner having the perfect text if you just want windows to change it into a default text?. :o |
