Yeah, I'm starting to stay away a bit from enhancing too much. And also, I wanted to keep the dead kind of look. Thanks :)

I like what you've done here kid ;)

B/W scratch it though--too busy and no transitions (unless you do a selective b/w filter which might help?... but this is really a color shot if anything else)

If you can go back to that spot and try it at a little lower angle. This for two reasons: 1.) Might emphasize your 'point' of view a little better and 2.) I see a tree in the background that combined with it's surrondings might make an excellent contribution if it was about 1/2 to 2/3 more visible.

Other than that try experimenting with the colors... if not full color try half color ;) You never know what you might get :D

This photo is meant for small edits to emphasize a point (be it the dry chalky ground, the plant itself, background, etc)... You be Canon in this aspect and paint what the camera didn't.

You're seeing it more and more rtk, keep it up,

-G

*Next assignment: That tree in the background--see what you can do with it.

 That's some weed. I like the color version the most. The black and white version feels bland. Nice work. :D

I'm glad you all like it :). And yeah Garrett, you'll see a pic of that tree in a couple of days in some way, but I'm going to six flags soon. Thanks again

Very nice choose. I agree that the blur spoils it slightly, but it's very nice.

I prefer the black and white version, as the dry weed seems to suit the cold look.

C: 9/10
B&W: 9.5/10
