I didn't host at dA because of what's going on. Garrett put me up to the challenge of working with the tree that's in the background of 'A Dry Weed', so I did that. This was actually kind of tough to find a decent angle to take a picture of this tree. I was trying to find what look best. But w/e, here they are. Part I Part II |

First picture has horrible lighing, but the second picture isn't have bad. It would be better, if I could see the whole tree. |

First one doesn't look that good, but the second one is very nice. Like Mech said, lighting on the first isn't that good and second one would be better if it showed the whole tree and the hill... |

I took a pic of the whole tree actually. Did not look good, believe me. That's why I haven't even hosted it. Thanks for the comments

First one yah scratch it... second one I saw what you were going for but didn't quite feel it to be honest with ya. You were probably hoping for taller grass around it and it woulda helped no doubt about it. The thing is it can be done but more than likely you'd be out there all day in every square foot trying to find the perfect spot to make it happen. -G ------------------------ Photos I took a while ago that look something like it. ![]() Example 1 Example 2 |

1st one you can see for yourself what the problem is. with the 2nd one, if the tree is the focus, you dont wan't any distractions to the focus. The grass on the bottom is doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help out the focus. |

I like most of my photography to be unique and not always just have one focus. Sometimes I want you to see more than one thing in the photograph. Thanks for the comments

ok if i sound mean you can flame me but i understnad and all how your learning and experimenting, but if you take a look at a lot of photos, the ideas you put behind them are all found quite frequently i found that in your 2nd pic in this topic with the tree from that angle, i am glad to see your trying to be original but if your going to be original, actually be it ![]() keep it up man youll get it |
