I didn't host at dA because of what's going on. Garrett put me up to the challenge of working with the tree that's in the background of 'A Dry Weed', so I did that. This was actually kind of tough to find a decent angle to take a picture of this tree. I was trying to find what look best. But w/e, here they are.

Part I
Part II

If I may?

At this point of starting out in photography, original is not what should be accomplished. With that said I personally think that redoing some of the classics in photography is not a bad way to start out rather than having to strive for originality because this fourm stresses it's importance (yet fails to realise the logic of it).

"You cannot learn about the future without learning about the past" or however it goes.

Keep it up rtk

I like most of my photography to be unique and not always just have one focus.  Sometimes I want you to see more than one thing in the photograph.  Thanks for the comments :)

It's a simple art concept and a sorry excuse to say, oh i can take a picture of whatever I want and it will be good becuase I intended that....maybe.

Im looking at these photographs
http://browse.deviantart.com/photography/?...rder=9&limit=24
and I'm realizing they all have something in common. They have a unique theme, a unique perspectve, and colors that don't even seem to be real. Photography is amazing becuase of what people can find in this world, display it for everyone to think, "Wow is that real? I can't imagine that anything in this world of ours is that amazing or beautiful."
Heres something that represents all of that

I know you're just starting and I wouldn't expect that much out of you, but you just got to think long and hard about these things. Follow the concepts and you can't go wrong. Give people a different look at things, you have the tools, just use them wisely.

I'm not loving 'em, but my only advice for next time would be to find a nicer tree ><

I'm not too fond of them both. About the 2nd, I would try some more point of views. I think the point of view is a tad to low. And those sun circles aren't that pretty neither. Nice idea, but not a good work out I suppose :/
