Yes, because using tables is the wrong way to contruct pages.

Oh how wrong you are, tables are a poor choice for web pages for a lot of reason.


  • Poor Accessibility
  • Larger page sizes when pages use tables
  • Pages made with tables are less compatible with mobile devices
  • Inflexible, harder to modify and adjust at a later date
  • Slower loading times
  • Higher bandwidth usage (on average)
  • Text only browsers can find it hard to navigate table based layouts.
