Can someone please explain to me in detail how to install Debian Linux? I'm trying to make a Debian Linux Web Server, but I can't install Debian. I tried the link from howtoforge.com, but it said it couldn't read a file. :haha: I also tried one from debian.org, (the "arm" one to be specific) but it didn't have an autorun file. Can someone please help?

Ok, let me be more specific in what I need help with. I downloaded the netinst CD (from here, I burn it onto a CD, etc, and it says to just boot the computer with the CD to start the installation, but that doesn't work for me. Other's say that it worked fine for them...what am I doing wrong?

We did that...that's what I don't understand. We made the primary boot method the CD.

When rebooting your computer. It should say "Hit F10 (or a different key) to enter setup"
Hit that key and look for an option that resets your boot order. Make your cd drive boot first

it will be either the DELETE button or the F1 (my solution, just smash them both until something apears :haha: )

Yeah, I did that, but for some reason it starts reading the CD, then just goes on to starting the computer like normal. Can someone just explain how to get the files on the CD? I think the problem is that we burned them wrong or something....so could someone just clarify for me? Please?

I was just thinking that... did you simply copy the image file to the CD?

To burn it properly, download Nero trial, once installed, double click the ISO file of Debian and then it'll burn right.

...did that...I didn't just simply burn the file onto the CD, I used...eh, can't remember, it was either ISO Buster, or Nero.
