Lets see now... well... every now and then... usually when i let my computer sit inactive for a while... my connection goes all wierd... it connects and reconnects every second... lol.. im not sure whats going on... but if i shutdown my system... its fine again... im not sure what is going on... i try to disable my connection... but when i try to get it to connect again... it just says connection failed... anyone know whats going on? ~ Crimson |

is a cable user also... <_< @ The best - im on cable... wired... i do have a router... but it doesnt happen on the other pc its connected to... also... i tried repair... it just sits there doing nothing... and i end up canceling... ~ Crimson |

not that i know of... the stuff is only a couple months old... it was all brand new... ive checked the stuff... it all looks fine to me.. im thinking it could be a hardware problem *ethernet modem*... or a software conflicting... as the router has its own firewall and settings as well as my computer having windows firewall... and antivirus... ~ Crimson |

Some ISP programs automatically disconnect you after a certain time, such as mine. This could be a factor, maybe. |
