it doesnt matter how they got there...
those ppl shouldnt have beeat them up

are you sure they were soldiers and not just Iraqi ppl?

Well thats what the topic title says

Iraqi soldiers beat up in Seattle

Have we discussed the option that 'Iraqi' could possibly refer to the fact that they were American soliders coming home from Iraq? If so, apologies. If not, read between the bloody lines.

As for my opinion, this looks like a hate crime, much like those of post-Vietnam. My father still takes the brunt of that war's unpopularity today.

And so we've gone from a disturbing news topic into a new derogatory flaming banazi over the war. -.- Have fun with that.

At the uber-liberals - Have fun with your conspriacy theories but read between the lines of your parents/friends/etc. opinions before you make your own.

At the uber-conservatives - Yes, Bush did give false information for the war. HOWEVER - it was given by faulty sources. Therefore, not directly his own fault. But just calm down and stop getting angry at liberal people.

After all, debate, not super-heated flaming wars of doom (on the Internet, no less!), is what I believe this country was founded on.

I'd like to see the rest of the story. Are we supposed to feel bad just because their soldiers?

What kind of comment is that?

Yes they're soldiers. They were beat up from what I heard because somebody was messing with their girlfriends.

I feel bad for them because they're finally back home from fighting in Iraqi and still have to defend themselves here in America.

To clear up any more confusion about the topic, they were American soldiers who had fought in Iraq, not Iraqi soldiers who had come to America.
