I used to live in silence, I used to sleep in silence. Now all I hear is a marching of soldiers in my head.

Just uncheck the song when you're updating your iPod. |

If you manually update your iPod like I do: Just open up iTunes, select the song you want to delete, press the delete key. |

I don't want it deleted from my library just from my ipod, but if that's the only way. Unchecking it doesn't do anything. |

That's what I do. Doesn't a different thing pop up on the left side of your iTunes that's labeled iPod? Just go there and delete it, it won't delete it from your computer, just the iPod. |

There's an option when you hook up your iPod that lets you do that. Its in your Preferences, when you click the iPod tab and your iPod is hooked up, there should be some sort of an option that lets you do the Uncheck thing. |

First of all, go into your preferences menu, you should see a screen like this: http://www.a-online.co.uk/misc/dropbox/iPod1.png Make sure the 'Manually manage songs and playlists' option is checked and then click 'Ok' Then go back to the main iTunes window and select your iPod: ![]() Click the song you want to delete from your iPod: ![]() A message should appear like this: ![]() And you've done.

Everything is unclickable. It kind of sucks. But I'll try it again. |
