I've seen so many of those shows and it's a different animal everytime.

Actually, this one is true. They're incredibly venomous.

I didn't say it wasn't, I just meant that it changes constantly it seems.

In my opinion the box jellyfish is most poisonous:

Quote:

"The World Most Venomous Animal," should go to the box jellyfish, which is found in the waters around Asia and Australia. They have long tentacles with stings at the very ends.

Danger:

Quote:

You have virtually no chance of surviving the venomous sting, unless treated immediately. The pain is so excruciating and overwhelming that you would most likely go into shock and drown before reaching the shore. So don't go swimming alone! Be sure to know the first aid procedures.

First Aid. Never use methylated spirit or alcohol.

Domestic vinegars should be poured liberally over the  tentacles to inactivate  stinging cells as soon as possible. The tentacles  may then be removed.  Artificial respiration and cardiac massage may be required.
Where antivenin  is unavailable, pressure-immobilisation  may be used on limbs after inactivation of stinging cells,  while the patient is being transported to the nearest medical centre.

In the end if you wear pantyhose you are safe, the stingers can't penetrate them, hince why Australian life guards wear pantyhose.

Where do ppl hear these things. It's a MYTH. It was even done on Mythbusters, they had the venom anylized... and the worst that could happen is an allergice reaction. And as for a daddy longlegs not being able to bite... not true also... as they proved that too by letting a bunch of them go on his arm... it stung like hell... but nothing happend to him... as the venom isnt deadly in anyway.

the most venomous creature is the Fierce Snake.
EDIT: though i did just read about a more poisonous snake... but it cant bite... no fangs... its a spitter...

I ditto Crimson on this.

This has been a long fought battle between Myth or Reality. I tend to side with the "Myth" take on it. Just seems to hoaky to me.

Whoa, if mythbusters did it, it must be true. I'm not being sarcastic by the way.

I heard that they were the most poisonous spider only I heard their teeth were to dull instead of them having no teeth. I also heard the Tarantulas have no teeth.
