A GeForce FX5200 would be fine, I don't know any British-PC parts websites.

Wow....

Why would you even recommend crap like that? It's even worse then crap. I have even seen SDRAM based ones which are so painfully slow that an old GF2MX would make them look silly.

First of all, I am guessing you only have a PCI slot?

He said he wanted something cheap, near the scale of his GeForce 2.

Sorry, I didn't read the "CT" part of it.

When my FX5200 was functional, I could play Splinter Cell 1 and the demo of Pandora Tomorrow at high resolutions and good frames per second.

He never said "near the scale of his GeForce 2." Even if he did, would it make any sense to buy a card that is just as crappy as the card he currently has? Also, he did say he wanted it cheap, but he said ~£100. With that budget he could buy something like a 6600GT.

That has nothing to do with it.

He added the 100pound part AFTER I Posted, so there was no way I knew his price range.

I didn't bother to re-read his first post. I just read the newer posts.

And let's not get into this off topic discussion..

Since the best has now stated 100pounds, then the equivalent is about 160USD, and that *might* get you a 6600GT.

Looks like I got him there Blah425.

What do you mean "re-read?" He already edited the original post before you even posted.

I just buy one thats cheap and has a good amount of memory. I'm not as hardcore with Graphics cards. With that budget you should be able to get a very good card.
