With a TI4200, you cannot expect the performance you would get from let's say, a 7800GTX. What game are you trying to play? Edit: And you might want to try lower the resolutions you are playing at. On my GeForce 4 MX420 (which I use to play Halo if I'm downstairs), I have the res at 680x480 and I get about 60FPS, although Halo locks it at 30. |

Are you sure you downloaded the latest 77.77 from NVIDIA's website? |

Did you install all your drivers, which order, and did you remove the previous drivers before installing new ones? |

Removing previous drivers really is not necessary, but it might help in some cases. Have you lowered the resolutions of the game as I suggested? |

The previous driver should always be removed. |

Yeah but the resolution had nothing to do with it. |

Remove the previous drivers as drew said, there may be some conflict going on between them. And lowering the resolution won't do anything if it ran fine before you did the update. |

Where did that come from? I never remove the old drivers, neither do most people I know. And don't proceed to call us n00bs. Sometimes, you get conflicts, sometimes you do not. Most people do not. And Multikill, lowering the resolution might lower the choppyness. According to you, I should expect perfect, streamline graphics when I run an FX5200 at 1028x1024 with 8xAA on Half Life 2. Sorry buddy, it doesn't work that way. I'd be lucky if I got 30FPS on an FX5200 with HL2 @ 1028x1024 with the other listed settings. |

No but given the information that he has given us it shouldn't make a difference. |

Then, I believe he needs to give us more information, if he wants help. Doffy90, could you please tell me what resolution you were running at? (Just check even if YOU think it's useless) |
