He already told us that it ran fine before he updated, therefore a resolution change isn't whats going to help. There is another problem.

Sorry. I did not read one of his posts. :P

Yes, in that case, try uninstalling the driver completely and then reinstalling. ^o)

You should always completely remove the previous drivers. Even nvidias site says so:

Quote:

Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.

Even though they recommend just removing them through the control panel, it is still best to run something like Driver Cleaner in safe mode to make sure everything is cleaned up.

I stand corrected, but it still isn't always necessary to do so. Although it is recommended, it does not mean it is necessary.

Then, I believe he needs to give us more information, if he wants help.

Doffy90, could you please tell me what resolution you were running at? (Just check even if YOU think it's useless)

I know it has nothing do to with my resolution, believe me.

First time before I installed the updated the intro was choppy as well but then I went into Device Manager clicked updated and it installed an update and then it worked (intro went smoothly).

I had to reinstall my comp for some reason and when I clicked update on device manager it didnt find any better then the one I allready had and the intro was choppy again.

Then I installed the update and it worked but then I had to reinstall my comp again (I have a backup file so it's really simple to do) but then it wouldnt find the update & when I installed the update on NVIDIA it didnt do any difference.

Yes, I understand that now. Download Driver Cleaner from here: http://www.drivercleaner.net/dc.htm

And wipe out the current drivers for NVIDIA. Then, reinstall them.
