iPod shuffle problems

well i put it in the USB port and it charges, the thing is i dont have a hi-speed USB port, does this matter or do i need a USB Hub adapter to charge it?

P.S. it says it takes 4 hours to charge and i left it charge all night once and it still didnt work

It shouldent, but the transfers are going to go really slow.

regular outlets work fine.....

but whatever

The only way to charge a shuffle is via the USB Port. So Apple made a standalone USB power adapter. :P

ok it charges, but.... it doesnt turn on and when i check the battery life it doesnt light up when its supposed to

Yes, I have a iPod Nano and i dont hve a USB High Speed Jack but it still works, it would only not work if you had a USB 1.1
