I was checking out my personalized google homepage (shameless plug) and saw a link to a slashdot article about Google's next adventure.... NASA. Google is going to be partnering with NASA for biotechnology, information technology, and nanotechnology. Check out the slashdot article which links to the original article here. |

I used to live in silence, I used to sleep in silence. Now all I hear is a marching of soldiers in my head.

Did you hear about their wifi hotspots too? They have 3 so far: one in San Francisco, one in Silicon Valley, and a new one just opened in New York City. Google is becoming the largest tech company and will probably (just guessing, I have no idea if they are planning this) release an OS some time soon provided they continue on this path. They are the new M$ only with values.... so far anyway. |

Google already has an OS. http://www.msfn.org/comments.php?shownews=14284 Secondly, as Google grows, their values will only decline. |

Yeah, the thing that made Google great in the first place was that it wasn't as big as Yahoo. Soon Google will wear the name out. |

I think what makes google great is they don't force a bunch of **** on you. Whereas on internet explorer I'd always get faggish yahoo toolbars installed when they felt it nessisary. Also look at googles front page. It's friendly, whereas yahoo's is cluttered full of ads and things to look flashy. |

That google OS looks really fake. It doesn't look like something google would make.... just not their style. Anyway, google will eventually become evil like M$ did probably but until then they are great. They still offer a great, simple, fast search feature and haven't forced anything on anyone... yet. I will continue to support and use them until they begin the crap that yahoo and MSN pull. |

Too bad it isn't fake and it is Google's style. Look at all the little red/yellow glasses. That is typical Google. And Yahoo! isn't crap. Yahoo! Mail has so many more features than Gmail. Better address management, more options, calendar, etc. |
