Compaq, Ive had it for like a year, My eyes are feeling tliek theyre ready to bleed. It shorrible. And it cuts off the sides

It's probably your monitor then. My suggestion:

1) Tamper with your video card's settings.
2) If all else fails, buy a new monitor. :(

Check your resolution is set right (Right click dektop then settings or something), if that's right, then play around wih the buttons on your monitor.

Right click the desktop and go down to properties. Click settings and mess around with the screen resolution.

Adjust screen resolution and monitor refresh rate. Right click on Desktop, then click on Properties, click on Settings tab. Adjust screen resolutions there. Click on the Advanced tab.

Go to Monitor. And you can set the refresh rate to higher.
