Hi there.

I am simply wondering how I change the width of the Foums.
When i tried to search for existing topics I recieved a error message saying the search function was currently disabled.

Would be glad is someone could help me.

Kind Regards,

Locate the page margins in your CSS, located within the BODY tag.
Quote:

margin: 10px 30px 10px 30px
The first number is the TOP margin, the second is the RIGHT margin , the third is the BOTTOM margin, and the forth is the LEFT margin. Increasing the margins will make that margin of your board appear to be smaller, and decreasing the margins will make that margin of your board appear to be wider.

Once you have set the margins to what you wish click Edit CSS to update your CSS.

To add to what cory said you can also put a table around your forums

Admin CP > Board Wrappers > Header & Body

Code: HTML

<table width='(Width you want in pixels or a % width)' border='0' align='(Position)'>
<tr><td>
<% BOARD HEADER %>
<% NAVIGATION %>
<% BOARD %>
<% STATS %>
</td></tr>
</table>

change (Width you want in pixels or a % width) with the width of course...

also change (Position) with right left or center depending on how you want it positioned in your page.

this is just an easy alternative, it is better to use Cory's way, because if you have multiple skins that people can use, they will all have their own width, also you can control the margins for each side where with the code for the table I posted would not, unless you wanted me to edit it for you...
