Two Problems, oh my!; Font change, and paragraphs

Okay so I went with a new skin a few days ago, I like it but there are two problems with it:

No paragraphs. It takes two enters to make one actually space. The site is a roleplay, so format and literature is a must and I will throw away this skin if it is going to interfere with things such as that. So how do I get my paragraphs back ;.;

Second, it also likes to hurt your eyes. When typing in the post or reply box, the font is a super light gray on a super light grey. Nice fit. So I would like to change the font colour.

Help would be appreciated.

I have no idea how the skin creator felt that wide letter spacing and light font colours was a good way to make their skin usable :rolleyes:

But it's 'fixable' ^_^.
Several things you can do to make your skin easier on the eyes:

CSS

BODY { letter-spacing: 1px; font-family: Helvetica, Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; color: #9a9a9a; margin:0px 10px 0px 10px;background-color:#d1d1d1 }

The letter spacing personally annoys me, and I think it makes reading things harder because it's harder to distinguish actual spaces from letter spaces. Remove the part in bold if you'd personally prefer to return the letter spacing to it's normal amount.
CSS

.codebuttons { font-size: 10px; font-family: helvetica, verdana, helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: middle; background-image:url(http://i4.ifrm.com/12742/172/upload/p31447.jpg); border: 1px solid #c9c9c9; }
.forminput, .textinput, .radiobutton, .checkbox { color:#888888; padding: 2px 2px 2px 2px; font-size: 10px; font-family: helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: middle; background-color: #f1f1f0; border:1px solid #c9c9c9; background-image:url(); background-repeat:repeat-x;}

textarea { font-size: 10px; color:#888888; padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px; font-family: Helvetica, Tahoma; vertical-align: middle; background-color: #f1f1f0!important; background-repeat:repeat-x; border: 1px solid #c9c9c9!important;}
Find this chunk.
Code buttons seem fine (the most easy to read thing on the skin, oddly :P )

Highlighted in the reddy orange colour = the hex codes you need to change for when you type your responses.
Highlighted in blue are where you should increase the font size. It's extremely small right now, so it's recommended.

Paragraphs seem to be working correctly for me when I apply your CSS to my test board that I use for support. I'll have to register on your board as IFSupport to see it on your forum. On my board, hitting enter twice leaves a gap, and hitting enter once starts a new line, which is how it's meant to work.

If you have any other areas you'd like to improve readability of, just indicate where in this topic :)
