So how does skinning ZetaBoards compare against Invisionfree? ![]() Pro's and con's? |

IF's CSS is shorter and pretty easy to figure out. ZB's CSS is longer but has better results. I think IF is good for beginners in skinning and then they should work their way up to ZB> |

ZB is better. No one should bother with IF anymore, IMO. The ONLY con to ZB's CSS is that it's very unorganised, IMO. It's a shame, cause it's so easy to work through when you've got it all going. Until you do, though, you're stabbing in the dark. |

Getting Better

ZB is better and harder. IF is easy and fast. Skinning the dropdowns in ZB is a pain the butt (not literally) |

i would definitely say that ZB is better. It has much more features to really hook in members, like the blogs, Joinable Groups, etc. Although, I must say, I'm not really used to the placement of the Userlinks etc., but it is something that i will get used to soon.

Well it's variable, you can move the userlinks around easier than on IF. |

I've only worked with ZetaBoards for a few days now, but the results can be so much clearer and better than IF, except IF is much more organized and easier to work with. It'll take me a little while to get adjusted to ZB theming. |

![]() And like Sith said, the "userlinks" is easily movable. Just move <!-- TOPMENU --> wherever you want the "userlinks" to be in the theme layout. ZetaBoards is ultimately better, the only con would be the length of the CSS and that's only because of how it's formatted in my opinion. ZetaBoards is much more customizable and provides more control of how you would like it to look overall. |

Yeah, the single reason for the length is because you no longer have to use selectors like .titlemedium[width="7%"] { }, you've got presets that only appear one or two times

the way the .tableborder class in IF makes way more sense than the way the forum section is set up in ZB. ZB is far more customizable tho. |

Even With All The Css For IF I Still Belive That ZB Has Better Quality And Is Much Clearer. ZB Also Has A Longer CSS Which I Was Waiting For :D. ZB FTW

I personally prefer the advanced features of ZB's CSS but the quickness and easierness of IF is better than ZB. However it is nice that each skin can get it's own part now rather than all be thrown around in skin selectors and whatnot.

I prefer IF. I think ZB is ugly to be honest. After using ZB on here I'll get more used to it though, and maybe start making themes when IF is hardly used anymore. ZB is better for use, though. It has more things to it and is just an amazing software. I'd rather create a board on ZB than IF.
