Okay, this is weird. I set the "New registration email validation?" to User Email Validation, yet, I still had to validate it through my Admin CP. Do you know what could've caused this and how to fix it? |

Did the member get an e-mail with a validation link? |

Here's how user email validation works: Once a user register's they will be sent an email with a link that they will have to click to confirm their registration. Once they confirm their registration they will be able to login normally. If the user does not receive the validation email they can click the "Resend Validation Email" link in the userlinks menu below the ad on the right-hand side. |

^I knew that. I just thought it was weird that even though I set it to E-mail validation I had to validate it myself. |

You dont have to do it yourself. You can if you want to. They will always be moved to the Validating Group once the email is sent and will stay there until they click the link in the email. As long as they are in the validating group, they will show up as users needing validation. |
