* Use the Search feature. This has been happening every time: Search offline while the search system indexes all posts. Please check back later. Error Code: 24009:1 * Read the FAQ/Documentation. It contains answers to the majority of problems you will encounter. Answer says it should be 200kb: http://invisionfree.com/index.php?p=disk * Post a link to your board. This is the only time it's okay to do that in a topic. This allows those who give support to take a look at the problem as it occurs on your board. http://z11.invisionfree.com/PittEMBA I should note that I put the size to 1000kb in the POST: Max upload file size (in KB) user groups management field. Uploads do work, but the limit is lower than expected. I need to get this working by tomorrow. Thanks for help! Edited by roadwarriormark, Jun 6 2008, 04:59 PM.

Quantum-locked when observed.

What are you trying to upload? We restrict the size of uploaded files in order to prevent abuse (e.g. one person registering 50 boards just to use the file space). These limits will override any larger limit you set for user groups in the Admin CP:

I was trying to upload a 165kb .doc file initially. I retested and 75k is accurate, thanks! Thanks for the more accurate info and the quick response Ben! I suggest two changes. 1) First fix the online help, which is incorrect and 2) Fix the error message as it is incorrect: (or at least ambiguous, as I took the administrator to mean the person who has access to the Admin CP panel, which is myself) Board Message Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information. The error returned was: The file you requested to upload was greater than the limit the administrator has set for your group. --- Unfortunately this service does not meet my needs now though.

I'm very sorry to hear that. We do offer extra disk space, which increases your maximum space from 16mb, as well as per-file size to seven megabytes. I think that you will find the prices comparable or less than most web hosts. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dennis, that works. It's not intuitive how to pay though... Edited by roadwarriormark, Jun 7 2008, 05:34 AM.
