This is my third attempt at a signature, first time showcasing one. Hopefully you guys can give me some good criticism so I can improve my techniques. I don't have many brushes or anything.

I also made an avatar.

Well here are some things that will help you a lot.

  • Firstly, get more brushes.
They can come in handy, though I used the defaults alot so it's not too big a deal. I still suggest you get some though, good to have.
  • c4ds are always good. They help with appearance and nearly every effect..
  • Work on these basics to making a good tag.
    • Composition - How things are arranged compared with everything else in the tag
    • Lighting - Make sure lighting goes with the shadows of you render/stock and effects
    • Typography - Text style. Text makes good tags bad if done wrong. So unless you're 100% sure about it, it's better to leave out.
    • Flow - The direction of your effects
    • Depth - Blur and sharpen help alot of with this but there are many ways to achieve depth.
    • Blending - Working your render/stock well into the background and effects
    • Colours - I personally don't like colours so they aren't my strength but vibrant colours and complimentary colours are good to work on. But Black and White tags are very appealing aswell.

Work on those things and you will get better quicker. As for the tag you have there, there's some flow, not much. The effects in the background show the slight flow. There's no blending or effects and the background colours are bland and boring. There's also a lack of a light source and the typo is poor. The text doesn't fit and the colour doesn't match.

    Hope this helps you ^^

It looks like the image is distorted. Other than that, pretty decent. Keep practicing. ^_^
