I need a method to change the default color of any external links in posts to something like BLUE, to make them stand out from regular post text...Is that possible? I apologize if this should have been posted in the graphics and skins forum ,but, it's kind of a fine line between a regular support issue and just wanting skins type graphics, in my view... I appreciate any assistance you are able to provide... Ty |

I think this will probably work: Go to board wrappers and go to the Header & Body. find the <body> tag and type this between the < and the > (include the speechmarks)
Now simply replace the red with a hexidecimal color. link is the link color and vlink is the visited link color. Edited by jkybett, Jul 11 2008, 06:15 PM.

No problem. Next time you get a problem like this though I would recommend searching google for HTML help pages. If it's a problem about the HTML rather than the code scripts you can usually find it fairly quickly without having to post and hope for a reply. |

New at this but I will remember that, thanks... BTW, I tried that (Even looked up the hexidecimal Color scales so as NOT to turn around and ask that next, lol) Here's a copy of my Header & Body...It's not working in my test post however --->>> <body text="#fff" link="#3232CC" vlink="#DD7500" alink="#000000" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"> <table width="800" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#000" height="377" bordercolor="#000" bordercolordark="#000" bordercolorlight="#000"> <tr> <td width="100%" height="100%" bgcolor="#363535" bordercolor="#000000" bordercolorlight="#000" bordercolordark="#000"> <% BOARD HEADER %> <% NAVIGATION %> <% BOARD %> <script> /* Adding NaviBar Links By Webworldx */ var aLink=new Array() aLink[0]='<img src="http://www.radiox.commx.info/radnv.gif" border="0" alt="" width="20" height="10" /> <a href="http://z4.invisionfree.com/Kingdom_Hearts_Guild/index.php?act=SR&f=35">MC Music V2</a>' var uCell = document.getElementsByTagName('TD') for (i=0;i<uCell.length;i++){ if (uCell.align=="right" && uCell.innerHTML.match("act=calendar") && uCell.innerHTML.match("act=Help")){ var addLink="" for (j=0;j<aLink.length;j++){ addLink+=aLink[j]+" " } uCell.innerHTML=addLink+uCell.innerHTML }} </script> <% STATS %> Not sure if I missed something... |

Ah-hah! Just looked in my forum's CSS does and found this:
If I'm not mistaken putting vlink and link codes here should do the trick for you. |

In your CSS add .postcolor a { color: #3232CC; } to change the posted links only. |
